I rely on my computer to operate my business and I often work to tight deadlines. It's great piece of mind to know I can call Christina if I have any problems. There have been times when I've called her late at night for a quick solution and I wouldn't have been able to service my own clients so well without her help and humour.

Christina has helped me edit my book"They Came to Armidale". She created a pdf file and placed it online. She has always been enthusiastic, helpful and extremely ready to help with guidance and problems. I always feel I can ask her if I have a problem.

As someone who has found the whole computer world we live in a confusing and scary place I have been delighted with the patience and humour that Softec personnel have given .They have made the whole process easy to understand and have taught me at my pace rather than rushing ahead when I was still unsure. I have also learnt many shortcuts, things you wouldn't know unless you had a lot of experience.
I know see my computer as a friend instead of the enemy it used to be.

Christina’s computer lessons have filled me with hope and excitement, and given me the much needed knowledge and skills I had been seeking but had been too afraid to pursue. Her commitment to the job is first rate and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to explore computer literacy.

I am what may be described as one of the new emerging inspirational classes of society. I aspire to become an elderly computer nerd. It can sometimes be a daunting ambition.
I recently upgraded to a new computer which I use occasionally but enthusiastically. My problem was that whilst I do not spend a lot of time on the computer my interests cover a wide spectrum of uses.
. Emailing overseas and local friends and family, but only sending two or three messages a week.
.Internet banking, but only once or twice a month.
.I tend to use the internet more as an encyclopedia than surfing the net.
.Using word to record information.
.Using word as a typewriter.
. Maintaining records of important data on files.
I am now confident in carrying out all of these tasks, feeling for the first time that I am in control, rather than like an inexperienced surfer, hanging on to his board like grim death and hoping for the best.
Not long after acquiring my new computer, to which all the records were transferred from my old computer, a virus completely destroyed all data on the hard drive. Irreplaceable records of value. I realized I must henceforth work from a sound basis of knowledge, not amateurish dabbling as in the past, if I am to use the computer as a tool rather than a toy.
Christina Jonkhoff of “Softec Solutions” has given me that knowledge through her “Learn It-Use It” training program for which I am very grateful.
Training sessions are not filled with jargon - but explain what the jargon means. It is eminently suitable to someone like me who was already retired when the IT revolution erupted into our lives.
Now I feel I am in it even if not of it.

Christina is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. Not only does she know everything one needs to know about computers but she has that intrinsic skill of being able to make this new technology understandable to someone in senior years who finds it difficult to really appreciate the finer points of this incredibly useful beast that we must all learn to conquer.
Apart from all these skills she is the most patient person one could have as a teacher. Where 'family' often find it hard to comprehend just how hard it is to 'get it' Christina will hold your hand and take you through a problem area, again and again, till you do 'get it'.
I have such admiration for her and that wonderful smiling face that hides all these skills that she passes on to one, so calmly. If you need someone to guide you through everything Microsoft throws at you I strongly suggest you look no further than this great lady and her business.

We live in the United States and Christina helps us with computer problems and digital camera problems by phone. If she does not know the answer she directs us to another resource. She is always tolerant, cheerful, and professional, (and we miss her a lot because she is our daughter)! Even blood relatives approve!!!
